China-based Everest Medicines has entered an exclusive licensing and collaboration agreement with US-based Travere Therapeutics for the development and commercialisation of civorebrutinib, an investigational oral BTK inhibitor for rare immune-mediated kidney diseases.

• Therapy: Travere receives exclusive development and commercialisation rights for civorebrutinib (also known as EVER001) outside China and certain countries in East and Southeast Asia.
• Development: The therapy will be evaluated for conditions including primary membranous nephropathy (PMN), focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), and minimal change disease (MCD).
