Halozyme Therapeutics has entered into a global collaboration and licence agreement with Incyte to develop subcutaneous formulations of INCA033989, a monoclonal antibody for mutant calreticulin (mutCALR)-expressing myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), using Halozyme’s ENHANZE® drug delivery technology.
- Technology Integration: ENHANZE® uses Halozyme’s proprietary recombinant human hyaluronidase (rHuPH20) enzyme technology to enable subcutaneous delivery of injectable therapies and support more convenient dosing regimens.
- Agreement Scope: Incyte receives rights to develop and commercialise ENHANZE® for its mutCALR programme, with options to nominate up to two additional therapeutic targets. Halozyme will receive an upfront payment, milestone-based payments, and tiered royalties on future commercial sales.
- Clinical Application: The collaboration aims to develop more convenient subcutaneous treatment options for patients with mutCALR-expressing myeloproliferative neoplasms, potentially reducing treatment burden while supporting ongoing clinical development.
