HOYA Lens Singapore has launched MiYOSMART iQTF, a new-generation myopia control spectacle lens combining Defocus Incorporated Multiple Segments (D.I.M.S.) Technology with Triple Enhanced Design (TED)—featuring Activated, Powerful, and Extended design enhancements to deliver greater effectiveness. In a randomised controlled clinical trial of 196 Hong Kong schoolchildren aged 4 to 12, 9 out of 10 children wearing the new lens showed no clinically relevant myopia progression in their first 12 months of wear, demonstrating efficacy in children as young as four years old for the first time with D.I.M.S. Technology-based spectacle lenses.
Positioned as HOYA Vision Care’s most advanced myopia control lens to date, the non-invasive spectacle is available in Singapore in four variations—including Clear and Chameleon Photochromic options with optional HOYA Full Control Coating—offering customized visual comfort, UV and antibacterial protection, blue light reduction, and outdoor glare control for children’s daily activities.
