UNITED 2.0 was launched on 2 March 2026 at Catapult, Galaxis, in a collaborative event hosted by the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), DxD Hub – Diagnostics Development Hub (A*STAR), and Lucence. The initiative aims to advance precision medicine in clinical diagnostics and treatment.

- Advancing Asian-Centric Oncology: Building on the success of the original UNITED panel, UNITED 2.0 focuses on the next generation of genomic profiling, specifically tailored to the unique genetic markers and prevalent cancer types found within Asian populations.
- Precision and Early Detection: The initiative aims to enhance the sensitivity of molecular diagnostics, moving towards earlier detection and more precise monitoring of treatment response to ensure clinical decisions are as accurate as possible.
- Non-Invasive Patient Solutions: A key pillar is the transition toward high-accuracy liquid biopsy, significantly reducing the need for invasive tissue biopsies and improving the overall patient experience.
- Collaboration: The launch brought together leaders from Lucence, DxD Hub, and NCCS to discuss applications in cancer and broader healthcare.
- Patient Impact: The programme emphasises less-invasive diagnostics to reduce the physical and emotional burden on patients.
