• Integrated Capabilities: The facility combines radiochemistry laboratories, clinical product manufacturing, patient dose administration and imaging at a single location to support the development and delivery of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Clinical Collaboration: Patient care and clinical research will be delivered in partnership with the Melbourne Theranostic Innovation Centre (MTIC), supporting clinical trials and the evaluation of new cancer therapies.
• Workforce Development: The facility will provide education and training in nuclear medicine, radiochemistry, engineering and clinical research to strengthen Australia’s specialist radiopharmaceutical workforce.
