Dymax has introduced HLC-M-1004, a low viscosity medical adhesive developed for the assembly of medical devices with both light-exposed and shadowed bonding areas.

• Technical capabilities: Uses a hybrid light-curable platform combining on-contact cure in dark areas with low-intensity UV or visible-light curing. The low viscosity supports dispensing into tight bond gaps without primers.
• Application suitability: Intended for medical device assembly applications involving catheters, diagnostic devices, therapeutic devices, and components with opaque or light-blocking substrates.
• Compliance standards: The one-part adhesive contains no non-reactive solvents and has been evaluated in accordance with applicable ISO 10993 biocompatibility standards.
