GSK plc has entered into an exclusive strategic collaboration with Sino Biopharmaceutical (SBP Group), through its subsidiary Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (CTTQ), to support the planned availability of bepirovirsen in mainland China upon launch.

• Operational arrangement: Under an initial 5.5-year agreement, CTTQ will be responsible for importation, distribution, hospital access, and promotional and non-promotional activities for bepirovirsen in mainland China, covering access to more than 5,000 medical centres.
• Product status: Bepirovirsen is an investigational antisense oligonucleotide for chronic hepatitis B and is under Priority Review in China as of April 2026.
• Regulatory and collaboration roles: GSK retains responsibility for marketing authorisation, regulatory oversight, quality, pharmacovigilance, and global medical strategy, while also gaining the ability to review selected early-stage SBP Group pipeline assets for potential collaboration outside China.
