• Platform Development: The funding will support the development of Sonire’s HIFU system, which uses real-time ultrasound guidance for non-invasive tumour ablation, beginning with pancreatic cancer.
• Project Scope: The support will cover manufacturing scale-up, regulatory approval activities in Japan, expansion into additional clinical indications and ongoing clinical development efforts in the United States.
• Clinical Development: The HIFU system is being evaluated in the SUNRISE-I and SUNRISE-II clinical trials for pancreatic cancer treatment.
